Executive Director’s Corner – March
Well, winter finally caught up to us. February was a difficult month with our share of snow and with some problems at the Cultural Center with our hot water system that closed our Nonna’s Pasta Nite for two weeks. BUT, the hot water system is fixed and should never be a problem for the next 20 years or so. Hooray!!!
We had a very nice January but unfortunately February was slow do to the weather and the repair of the hot water system. On a positive note, the return of Frank Spadone was well received with over 200 attending the “Valentine’s Dinner and Show” event. The generosity of Il Forniao Bakery and Randazzo’s Fresh Market with special deserts and fresh fruit platters coupled with a fresh long-stem red rose for each lady made it a lovely evening for all.
With the beginning of the Lenten Season, the IACS is again having its Friday Fish Buffett at $9.95 for members and $11.95 for non-members. Yes, you can find less expensive places but they will not meet our quality and remember- it is all you can eat. Quite a deal for this season!
March 4th is our Annual Ladies Night Event. Once again the ladies will be treated to a wide variety of vendors, a good compliment of food items and there will be some nice wines available for purchase too. This has always been a popular event that is a very special evening for our ladies. Make sure you reserve that night for YOU.
As you all know, the daily cash awards have been flowing from the IACS to all the lucky winners. The $100 last day of the month award went to a young lady who had just given birth to a child a few days before. What a great person to receive this award and I am sure she can really use it.
Finally, don’t forget, there is still over 300 days that you can win if you buy a Daily Cash Raffle Calendar now. It is only $25.00 and you can win multiple times (several people already have) and the big prizes are at the end of each month - $100.00 for each month until December 31st which will be $1,000.00. Do not miss-out on this chance to help us and help yourself.
See you at the Center,
Ciao
